Rubik's Cube
Rubik's Cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle. There are many variations of rubik's cube. It's 2x2 cube, 3x3 cube (standard cube), 4x4 cube, 5x5 cube, 6x6 cube, 7x7 cube, etc (the biggest cube have made is 17x17 cube). It is not only that, there are cube that have different geometric shapes, some of them are tetrahedron (Pyraminx), octahedron (Skewb Diamond), dodecahedron (megaminx), and square one.
Standard cube, 3x3 rubik's cube is the most popular cube. It has 6 sides, each of 6 sides has 9 stickers. The part of a 3x3 cube are 6 centers, 12 edges, 8 corners, and a core. Center pieces is part that has 1 colour, and it is axis to rotate each side of cube. Edge pieces is part that has 2 colour, and it limit for one side to the other side. Corner pieces is part that has 3 colour. And a core is part that has function to unite all centers, edges, and corners.
There are several method to solve 3x3 cube. But, popular method is CFOP. The holder world record of 3x3 rubik's cube is Felix Zemdegs. He just need 5.66 s to solve a 3x3 rubik's cube!!!
