In the school, Uray and Fani were talking to Maman.

Uray                :    Hi Man, I don’t see Agung, where is he?

Maman            :    He is sick. He told me yesterday.

Uray                :    I hope he will be healthy before next week.

Maman            :    Why?

Fani                 :    Next week is holiday. Because student in grade 12 will have national exam.

Maman            :    So?

Fani                 :    I and Uray will spend our holiday in Jakarta. So, I hope Agung want to spend the holiday with us.

Maman            :    What about me? May I spend my holiday with you?

Uray                :    Of course.

The next morning, Maman, Uray and Fani came to Agung’s House.

NARRATIVE TEXT

DYLAN’S DREAM

There once a young man named Dylan. He lived in Edolas City. He was a fans of Red Devil Dragon. The Red Devil Dragon was a big football club in Edolas League. Dylan had dream to played football as a professional football player in Red Devil Dragon. And his family supported Dylan’s dream.

One day, he took part in a competition named Devil’s cup. The most valuable player from this competition would get contract as Devil Dragon’s player. Dylan showed his best performance and he became the most valuable player after won Devil’s cup with his amateur team. He just not wanted get this contract, but he wanted to play in main team of Red Devil Dragon.

Several months he trained in Red Devil Dragon Club. But, he had not got the chance to play. His family always gave support to him.

Finally, Dylan got his first chance in friendly match, Red Devil Dragon versus Tiger Warrior. The coach gave the chance to the new and young players, included Dylan. Till 83^rd minute from this match, there were not goals from both teams. But, finally Red Devil Dragon made a goal. Dylan dribbled the ball to the penalty box and two opposing players blocked him. Actually, he could pass the ball to his teammate who was in good position. But, he didn’t do that and he kicked the ball. The goalkeeper could not catch the ball and goal, Red Devil Dragon won the match.

The coach didn’t give the praise to Dylan, but he was angry and said, “ What are you doing, you should pass the ball, this team play by eleven players not one player”. Days gone by and Dylan had not played in main team.

Axel who was Dylan’s friend and important player in Red Dragon Devil asked the coach to give the chance to Dylan. “He is a player with big talent, he still young but he will be important player for this club, give him the chance”,  said Axel. And the coach answered, “ Yeah, you are right, next week we will play in final of Edolas League Cup and he will play”.

Several days before the final match in Edolas League cup, Dylan was very surprised, his named included in players list which was brought to Edolas League Cup Final. Dylan was very happy, he told that to his family and asked them to give him support by came to the stadium.

The final was began, Red Devil Dragon versus Pegasus White Knights. This final match was very interest. Till first half, the score was 2-1 for Pegasus White Knights.  Before the second half, the coach made new strategy and he said to players, “ It’s the final, if we lose in this match, it same as we lose in first match. So, show your best performance and you have to always remember that the name in fornt of your jersey is more important than one on the back.

In 83^rd minute, Red Devil Dragon team made score 2-2 by Axel’s goal. Axel scored the goal because of Dylan’s assist. In injury time, Red Devil Dragon got chance to score 3^rd goal and won the match. It was the freekick. Actually, Axel was the executor for freekick, but Axel  gave it to Dylan. Dylan kicked the ball and ……………………….Goallllll!. The final score was 3-2 for Red Devil Dragon. Red Devil Dragon won the Edolas League Cup. Red Devil Dragon  was the champion.

So, finally, Dylan became the important part of Red Devil Dragon’s glory and he could create his dream. He knew if he wanted to be a great football player, he should fight and win the match for his club, not for his self.

THE CULTURES OF WEST KALIMANTAN

West Kalimantan is a province of Indonesia. West Kalimantan has various cultures. The cultures of West Kalmantan are formed from many tribes in West Kalimantan. Some factors, such as religion, mystical, environment and combination with other cultures are also important. There are some main tribes in West Kalimantan, such as Malay and Dayak Tribes.

In Malay Tribe, there are some traditional ceremonies, one of them is Robo-robo. Robo-robo is a ritual ceremony in Mempawah. It is a ceremony to commemorate napak tilas from Mas Surya Negara Prince. It is celebrated on wednesday on the last week of Syafar.

One of traditional dances in Malay Tribe is Zapin Dance. Zapin dance is a dance to show happiness. Zapin dance is also used to entertain the audience in a festival.

The famous food in Malay Tribe is "Bubur Pedas". It has special smell. It's color is dark yellow with thick sauce.

Besides Malay Tribe, the main tribe in West Kalimantan is Dayak Tribe. Dayak Tribe has traditional ceremonies. One of them is Gawai Dayak. It is celebrated on the 1st of June every year. People of Dayak Tribe visit their families and friends on this day.

There are many traditional dances in Dayak Tribe, such as Monong, Pingan, Jonggan, and Kinyah Uut Danum. Monong dance is a dance to refuse disease. Pingan dance is a dance to show happiness because of livehood that is given by God. Jonggan is a dance to tell happiness in Dayak's teenagers. Kinyah Uut Danum  is a dance that show a war in Dayak Uut Danum Tribe.

Traditional foods are pansoh, jimut, tumpi', and etc. Pansoh is meat cooked in bamboo. Jimut is cake made from powder. Tumpi' is cake made from powder like as Jimut.

Rubik's Cube

Rubik's Cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle. There are many variations of rubik's cube. It's 2x2 cube, 3x3 cube (standard cube), 4x4 cube, 5x5 cube, 6x6 cube, 7x7 cube, etc (the biggest cube have made is 17x17 cube). It is not only that, there are cube that have different geometric shapes, some of them are tetrahedron (Pyraminx), octahedron (Skewb Diamond), dodecahedron (megaminx), and square one.

Standard cube, 3x3 rubik's cube is the most popular cube. It has 6 sides, each of 6 sides has 9 stickers. The part of a 3x3 cube are 6 centers, 12 edges, 8 corners, and a core. Center pieces is part that has 1 colour, and it is axis to rotate each side of cube. Edge pieces is part that has 2 colour, and it limit for one side to the other side. Corner pieces is part that has 3 colour. And a core is part that has function to unite all centers, edges, and corners.

There are several method to solve 3x3 cube. But, popular method is CFOP. The holder world record of 3x3 rubik's cube is Felix Zemdegs. He just need 5.66 s to solve a 3x3 rubik's cube!!!

Hello friends,
Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening. I am Abdurrachman. I was born on 23rd October 1995. So, I am 15 years old. I have some hobbies. I like playing football, solving rubik's cube , etc. I can enjoy when I do my hobbies. I have good friends in my school. My school is Seinor High School Number 1. And now, I am eleventh grade (XI Science 1).

I make this blog because I want to share what I know to you. One of them is knowledge. Especally, knowledge of english. Yeah, I am not very fluent in english, but I just try to share my knowledge of english. And I am sorry if I make mistakes.

What are our purpose study english? For example, You want to spend your holiday in European, precisely in England. If you cannot speak english, you cannot do anything well there. You cannot communicate with people there, you will be a fool.

It's not only that, english is international languange. Many country use english. So, we must can speak english well.

In this blog, I'm not only share knowledge, but I persuade you to imagine. To study english we are not only need knowledge, but we need imagination. So, we can get best result.
